About

The product studio inside SFGOC.

SFGOC Labs is the product development and research arm of the Schnell Family Group of Companies. We design, build and operate the group's software, connected technology, applied-AI and hardware products.

What SFGOC Labs is

Labs is a builder, not an agency and not a managed service provider. Every product on this site is developed in-house by SFGOC Labs and owned by the Schnell Family Group of Companies. We are responsible for the whole life of a product: the research that decides whether it should exist, the engineering that makes it real, and the operation that keeps it running afterwards.

That has one consequence worth stating plainly: we publish products at the stage they are actually at. A prototype is called a prototype, a concept is called a concept, and nothing on this site is dressed up as available when it is not.

How Labs relates to SFGOC

The Schnell Family Group of Companies is the parent organization. It holds operating companies across several fields, and it publishes a summary of Labs at sfgoc.org/labs. This site — labs.sfgoc.org — is the full portfolio: every product, its real status, and how the products relate to each other.

Some product names appear in more than one context inside the group. Where that happens, the Labs product page describes the Labs product only, and the operating-company identity stays on sfgoc.org.

What we build

  • Home & Family — Software and connected hardware for households and families: HausPlatz, HausKreis, HausHub, HausBell and Kreis Tags.
  • Work & Operations — Platforms for businesses and organizations: KontoCore keeps financial operations traceable, WerkPlatz coordinates service work, SiteStay supports extended professional stays, and Ginitiv turns operational signals into intelligence.
  • Intelligence — Applied-AI products that turn organizational information into understanding, led by Fortivant AI.
  • Security & Privacy — AssurIQ for infrastructure intelligence and continuous assurance, and Privatwerk for reducing personal-data exposure.
  • Learning — Personalized learning products: Auf Deutsch teaches German built around a learner's real life, profession and interests.
  • Concept Lab — Early exploratory concepts still being shaped inside SFGOC Labs. Nothing here is a product yet.

How we work

  • Start from a real problem someone actually has, not from a technology we want to use.
  • Build a working thing early, because an interface tells the truth faster than a document.
  • Keep products separate when their users are separate, even when they share engineering foundations.
  • Say what stage something is at, every time it is shown publicly.
  • Only claim an integration, a certification or a capability once it genuinely exists.

Honesty about stage

Product concepts, hardware visualizations, interfaces, and future capabilities displayed on this website are exploratory and may change or may not enter production.

Statuses on this site describe maturity, not a release schedule. Nothing here is a commitment to ship on a date, and nothing implies pricing, availability, certification or regulatory approval unless it is stated explicitly on the product's own page.
