Privacy

What we collect, and what we do not.

This page covers labs.sfgoc.org. Individual SFGOC Labs products have their own privacy terms, because a household product and a business platform handle information differently.

This website

labs.sfgoc.org is an informational site. It has no accounts, no sign-in and no forms that store what you type. The interactive product demonstrations on this site run entirely in your browser with simulated data — nothing you do inside a demo is transmitted or recorded.

  • We do not sell personal information, and we do not use this site for advertising profiling.
  • We store a small local preference in your browser so the opening sequence does not replay on every visit. It stays on your device.
  • Standard server request information may be processed by our hosting provider to deliver and protect the site.

When you contact us

If you email billing.labs@sfgoc.org or write through sfgoc.org/contact, we hold your message and contact details for as long as needed to answer you and to keep a record of the enquiry. We use them for that purpose only.

Products handle data separately

Where an SFGOC Labs product processes personal information, it does so under its own terms and inside its own systems. Product data is not pooled into a single profile across products, and a product does not receive information from another product unless the connection is described on the product page and you have set it up.

Most products on this site are in development. Nothing here should be read as a statement that a specific product is currently processing your information — see product stages.

Our principles

  • Collect the minimum a feature needs to work.
  • Keep information inside the product that gathered it.
  • Make sharing an explicit choice, never a default.
  • Say plainly what a feature does with information, at the point it does it.
  • Never sell personal information or trade it for advertising reach.

Your choices

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to billing.labs@sfgoc.org and tell us which product the request concerns. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under local law; we will honour those where they apply.
