What it does
Personalized German for English-speaking adults, built around your real life.
Auf Deutsch is an SFGOC Labs language-learning product for English-speaking adults who want German that fits their actual life — their job, their interests, their conversations — instead of generic textbook chapters.
Learners follow a personalized daily pathway from practical everyday German toward profession-specific and personal-interest vocabulary, with progression oriented along the CEFR levels A1 through C1. Lessons combine idiomatic real-context stories, typed and spoken exercises, pronunciation and audio, clear grammar explanations, spaced review and an adaptive mistake memory.
Two recurring dialogue characters, Ulli and Gina, carry conversations through the lessons. Instructors can also assign material to learners.

Use cases
Situations it is designed for
- 01
German for the ward
A nurse relocating to Germany needs patient conversations before grammar drills.
A nursing pathway puts clinical phrases and polite forms first, with grammar explained where it appears.
- 02
Monday small talk
An engineer can read technical German but freezes in the coffee kitchen.
Ulli and Gina dialogues rehearse the everyday conversations that never appear in manuals.
- 03
Mistakes that stick
A learner keeps putting the verb in the wrong place.
Mistake memory resurfaces exactly that pattern until it holds.
